Maximum fee rates for 1km use of motorway in 2007

Minister of Transport issued Announcement of 29 December 2006 on maximum fee rates for 1km use of motorway in 2007 (under Act of 27 October 1994 on Paid Motorways and National Road Fund, Article 37a (3)). These are maximum fee rates for 1km use of motorway collected by General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways within the period of contract for construction and operation or exclusively operation of paid motorway, on condition that the motorway is ready for fee collection.
MAXIMUM FEE RATES FOR 1KM USE OF MOTORWAY
Category 0
Motorcycles – 0.11PLN per 1km
Category 1
Road vehicles with two axles – 0.23PLN per 1km
Category 2
Road vehicles with two axles, of which one at least is equipped with a twin wheel, road vehicles with two axles and trailers – 0.34PLN per 1km
Category 3
Road vehicles with three axles, road vehicles with two axles, of which one at least is equipped with a twin wheel and trailers – 0.49PLN per 1km
Category 4
Road vehicles with more than three axles, road vehicles with three axles and trailers, road vehicles with more than three axles and trailers – 0.78PLN
Category 5
Road vehicles which are beyond Categories 1-4, and road vehicles whose measurements or axle pressure, or weight go beyond the norms under the provisions of road traffic (10 x rate for Category 1)
Maximum rates have changed in proportion to the index of price rise regarding consumer goods and services in the first quarters of the year, in which the rates change, as compared with the same period of the previous year. The index reached 0.9% in the first quarters of 2006.
