Dipped Headlights On All Year

On 28 March 2007, President of the Republic of Poland signed the Act of 7 March 2007, amending the Road Traffic Act, on Dipped Headlights On All Year. The Act shall come into force on the fourteenth day after its publication in the Journal of Laws.
The Act introduces the following alterations in the Road Traffic Act:
1. Vehicle drivers are obliged to put on dipped headlights 24 hours. From dawn till dusk, in normal visibility, the driver will be allowed to use day headlights instead of dipped headlights.
2. The Act regulates the traffic in tunnels of more than 500m outside built-up areas, and especially obliges the driver to keep minimum distance between vehicles, eg for cars in motion – 50m, and while stopped as a result of conditions or road traffic regulations – 5m).
