The audit will be conducted in maritime administration entities - central as well as local: Ministry of Infrastructure, Maritime Offices, Maritime Search and Rescue Service, Hydrographic Office of the Polish Navy, Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in Gdynia, and Polish Border Guard in Gdynia. It is intended to to provide an audited Member State with a comprehensive and objective assessment of how effectively it administers and implements those mandatory IMO instruments which are covered by the Scheme. On 19 April 2010, the auditors will come to a closing meeting and present their findings and observations necessary to take corrective actions.
