28th Housing Investment Exhibition “New House, New Appartment” was held in Warsaw from 6 to 7 March 2010. The fair was organised to propose the latest offer of housing and real estate sector to its guests from Warsaw and neighbouring districts.
During the event, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Piotr Styczeń met with persons interested to take advantage of the grant awarded by the government to support families in the acquisition of affordable housing called “Rodzina na Swoim” (“Family’s own home”). P. Styczeń explained the regulations concerning the rights of young marriages and single parents to loan subsidies, related devisees, and also changes in subsidies and pertinent reference rates. He also said that the idea is to reinforce housing demand as well as secondary market supply. The programme will be amended and updated to let it wither away within next five years, and create new tools for support of housing construction.
The fair “New House, New Appartment” is said among market stakeholders and policy experts to be the biggest and most popular exhibition organised in Poland to promote residential property market. The aim of the event is both to showcase full range of residential housing and loans, and possible aid to those interested for struggling through the formalities regarding the purchase of own housing. The exhibition provides visitors with an opportunity to look through the offer of property developers, housing cooperatives and mortgage banks. The guests might take part in open lectures, delivered by independent experts who talked about property developers, deal security concerns, loans, taxes and tax deductions.
The event, organised under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Marshall Office of the Masovia Province, was attended by Ursynów District of Warsaw which presented the advantages of living in the area.
