On 25 June 2009, the Ministry of Infrastructure hosted the meeting of the Visegrad Group transport ministers. The meeting was attended by secretaries and undersecretaries of state in the transport ministers from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. The Polish side was headed by Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure Maciej Jankowski.
The meeting was aimed at recapitulating the Polish Presidence within the Visegrad Group, and set new directions for future cooperation in transport. Moreover, the other deliberations were concerned with:
· quicker reimbursement procedure for bigger infrastructural projects from eu funds;
· proposals for revision of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T);
· future cooperation of the Visegrad Group in transport within the European Union.
