Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy Sławomir Nowak met with Vice-President of the European Commission and Commissioner in charge of Transport Siim Kallas at the High Level Conference on the Implementation of the Single European Sky and its extension to Third Countries on 28 November 2011 in Warsaw.

Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Transport Siim Kallas, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Sergei Ivanov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin, Director General of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Tony Tyler and Governor of Saint Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko took part in the EU-Russia Aviation Summit on 12-13 October 2011, Saint Petersburg (Russia).

Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Maciej Jankowski took part in the Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council meeting on 16 June 2011 in Luxembourg.

From 21 to 22 April 2011, 4th session of the Polish-Russian Intergovernmental Committee for Economic Cooperation took place. The session was co-chaired by Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk and Minister of Transport Igor Lewitin.

Between 8 and 9 December 2010 in Vilnius (Lithuania), Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Tadeusz Jarmuzieiwcz took part in the second session of the Baltic Functional Airspace Block Initiative (Baltic FAB).

Warsaw, 27 November 2010, Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabraczyk met with Russia’s Minister of Transport Igor Levitin.

Between 26 and 27 October 2010 the European Aviation Summit was held in Bruges as part of the Belgian EU presidency in 2010. The summit aimed to deal with air traffic, air traffic management and the environment. It also focused attention on international cooperation, Single European Sky II and research related to air safety and security.

Between 8 and 9 September 2010 (Warsaw) Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Tadeusz Jarmuzieiwcz and Lithuanian Viceminister of Transport and Communications Rimvydas Vaštakas took part in the first session of Polish-Lithuanian management structures for the Baltic Functional Airspace Block Initiative.

Polish Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Tadeusz Jarmuziewicz and Lithuanian Vice Minister of Transport and Communications Rimvydas Vaštakas signed a Letter of Intent on cooperation with regard to the development of the Baltic Functional Airspace Block Initiative on 29 July 2010 in Vilnius (Lithuania).
