A joint declaration for the construction of the ‘Via Carpatia’ international motorway was signed by Bulgaria, Greece and Romania on 22 October 2010 in Łańcut (Poland). These are the following countries which, apart from Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Lithuania, joined the project.

An International conference “Via Carpatia” will take place on 22 October 2010 in Łańcut Castle (Poland). Durin the meeting, Bulgaria, Greece and Romania will become members of the project. Among the countries, which already joined the initiative, are Hungary, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia.

Warsaw, 11 June 2010, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Maciej Jankowski and Secretary General Fernand Desmyter signed the Declaration of Intent between the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Poland and the Flemish Ministry for Mobility and Public Works.

Today, we have the opportunity to see the potential and capacity of road building sector - said Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Radosław Stępień in Kielce, 11 May 2010, during the opening ceremony of 16^th International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA. The ceremony was also attended by General Director for National Roads and Motorways Lech Witecki. AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA is the largest exhibition of road construction industry sector in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe. The fair is organised under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Infrastructure.

Warsaw, 18 February 2010, during the visit of Prime Minister Vlad Flat (Moldova) to Poland, a meeting was held between Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk and Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Anatol Şalaru (Moldova).

Warsaw, 20 January 2010, Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk met with Minister of Transport Gustav Slamečka (Czech Republic). The meeting was also attended by Undersecretaries of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure Radosław Stępień and Juliusz Engelhardt, and also Czech Deputy Ministers Pavel Škvara and Tomaš Kaas.

Warsaw, 9 December 2009, Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk met with Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Paavo Väyrynenem (Finland). The meeting was also attended by representatives of transport, telecommunication and logistic companies from Finland willing to invest in infrastructure in Poland.

Tashkent (Uzbekistan), 23-27 November 2009, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure Maciej Jankowski took part in 2nd session of Polish-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation.
