On 23 July 2007, during his press conference, Minister of Transport Jerzy Polaczek offered his condolences with the families on the victims of the bus accident near Grenoble in France, and appealed to journalists to make serious reports on the disaster. Minister Jerzy Polaczek, who, along with President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński, was present on the place of the accident, informed about what was done by the French rescue service. On 18 July 2007, Warsaw Airport Okęcie was visited by two government members: Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Transport Eugeniusz Wróbel and Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Interior and Administration Wiesław Tarka.
