On 8 October 2008 Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk went to Cordoba, Spain, to take part in intergovernmental consultations on Spanish companies involvement in implementation of Polish transport infrastructure projects. Baltic Master won the maritime category and was considered the best European maritime project in European Regional Champion Awards. The project, as a part of Interreg IIIB programme, aims to improve maritime safety by integrating and bringing forward local and regional perspectives. This includes measures to improve the prevention and the preparedness for ship accidents within the Baltic Sea .

The regulations concerning thermal insulation should be adjusted to technologies available – said Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure Piotr Styczeń on 1 October 2008 during the training meeting oriented to discuss the Polish experience in transmission from energetic planned economy to free-market one, and pertinent regulations in force. On 22 September 2008, 29th Session of Chinese-Polish Joint Stock Shipping Company Board Executive was held in Warsaw on 22 September 2008. Chipolbrok is an international shipping company, which was established in 1951 under the agreement concluded between China and Poland. Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk represents Poland in the comapny; however, it is Minister of Transport XU Zuyuan who represents China. The meeting was also attended by Executive Board Presidents of both sides, and Directors of Head Office in Shanghai and Branch Office in Gdynia. During the meeting, the shareholders executed a performance appraisal of the company for 2006-2007, and approved balances for 2006-2007. Moreover, they talked about the prospects for the company. It is worthwhile to emphasise that the company is doing well financially. On 11 September 2008, the session of the Polish-Lithuanian Commission for Maritime Transport took place in Vilnius. It was held under the Agreement on cooperation in the field of trade maritime navigation concluded between Poland and Lithuania on 1 September 1995. The meeting was chaired by Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Infrastructure Anna Wypych-Namiotko, Poland, and Secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Communication Arvydas Vaitkus, Lithuania.

All A1 Gdańsk – borderline with Czech Republic will be ready for use by the end of 2011 – promised Minister of Infrastructure Cezary Grabarczyk on 25 August 2008 during the opening construction ceremony of the A1 Nowe Marzy – Toruń. This construction confirms that Poland can build motorways under public and private partnership. This means that the public can work with the private – added the Minister.
